Towards the end of yet another marathon telebabad session, my best friend told me about BBC Radio, which she says she now listens to almost daily. I’ve always liked BBC’s stuff anyway, mostly the kind I get on cable tv, and I remember listening to all the BBC Radio I could get my, er, ears on on a 14 hour trip to L.A. But what a great re - discovery it was this time around; it’s got comedy/drama, classical, pop and other stations which weren’t all available to me on that butt - flattening flight. The comedy stuff is absolutely brilliant — uh - oh, I’m doing them now. Check it out. I plan to listen to it at work, where I feel it’ll help me the most. Thank goodness for headphones and a lurvely broadband connection. It gets so bloody boring sometimes. Which means there’s not much to tell about work today. I was friends with the computer most of the day, and for a few hours back there I actually believed writing would give me a nosebleed. More when I can.
